At the third annual international DVDA awards held at the Washingtonian Centre, USA, Sydney based DVD authoring company DVDTECH scored three wins in a row with their award for Audio Quality and Presentation for the DVD Dinotopia. They are the first DVD authoring company three consecutive award wins.

Following award successes with Wog Boy in 2001, The Light horseman and an innovative training DVD called “It’s Your Business” in 2002, this award for audio quality and presentation is a win in a whole new category.

Managing Director Jeff Sunderland was delighted with the win. “Working with DTS technology was a key element of our success as it allowed us to develop of method to encode both Dolby and DTS formats digitally so we can provide the best of both worlds. It is also very satisfying to compete in the International arena and prove that Australian authors are amongst the best in the world.

DVDTECH has also been recognised as a market leader winning the rights to author major Time Warner Fox production. They are also currently negotiating for the MGM authoring rights in Australia.

This young enterprising company sees the sky as the limit and their focus on innovation and excellence is bringing them to the notice of local and international players in the DVD Market.

The challenge is now on to make it four in a row and Jeff is already exploring new skills and technologies to impress the judges in 2004.
